How to Extract Emails from Any Website (2026 Guide)
A step-by-step guide to finding public email addresses on any website quickly and ethically, with and without a Chrome extension.
Why manual copying fails
Copying emails by hand is slow, error-prone and misses addresses hidden on Contact, About and Team pages. Obfuscated formats like 'info [at] company dot com' are easy to overlook.
The manual method
Open the site, check the footer, then the Contact, About and Team pages. Search the page source for '@' and 'mailto:'. It works, but it takes several minutes per site.
The one-click method
Install Atlas, open the website and click Scan. Atlas checks the current page plus its key subpages, fixes broken addresses and removes duplicates and tracking emails.
Stay ethical
Only collect publicly published business contacts, contact people with a relevant offer, and always include an opt-out. See our guide on whether email scraping is legal.
